Narratological interest

I use the tools of narratology (and cognitive science) in my teaching and scholarship on literature, art, music, film, and comic books. I am the author and editor of seven books, including the recently published Why the Humanities Matter: A Common Sense Approach. I am a core faculty member of Project Narrative at the Ohio State University and sit on the editorial boards of Narrative, Journal of Narrative Theory and Narrative and Image.
