Narratological interest

My interest lies in spreading awareness of the field of narratology here in
Toronto. My studies continue to be in pragmatic philosophy, popular American,
Japanese and Chinese Cinema and the Toronto Improv community have all been
unconsciously linked by an appreciation for narrative structure. I was first
introduced to it by Christopher Booker's 'The Seven Basic Plots' and the
works of Joseph Campbell and Karl Jung. I am very much an amateur of this
field, but the University does not yet provide many current academic sources
and I would be honoured to gain access to a potential finer comprehension of
this field of study.
