Narratological interest

As a Research Fellow of the FWO-Flanders, my narrative interests can generally be traced back to the fictionality-factuality divide. I am working on questions of mediality, authorship and readership and the ways in which these can be transported onto (instances of) factual narration. Within this framework, I specifically explore how and to what extent such concepts can be employed to map the communicational structure of factual narratives. Furthermore, I have a keen interest in the topics of narrative pragmatics as well as intermediality (music-text in particular).
